Stockport Group's regular monthly meeting is coming up on Thursday 11th October.

Stockport Group has been without a Prisoner Of Conscience for a while now, but we can announce that the group is now supporting an “Individual at Risk”, as part of Amnesty's campaign against the death penalty.

After our usual summer hiatus, Stockport Group is back to business with our next monthly meeting, which takes place on Thursday 13th September.

Stockport Group, as is our custom, isn't holding an August monthly meeting, but we'll be reconvening on Thursday September 13th.

Stockport Group's next monthly meeting is is taking place this coming Thursday, the 12th of July.

We're always keen to get the word out. Please get in touch if you have a suitable space and would be willing to display Amnesty posters, leaflets or themed photographic exhibitions, even if only for a short time.

We had a great night out on Saturday, thanks to the Amaretti Chamber Orchestra, who gave a wonderful concert in support of Amnesty.

It was great to get to the AGM again, made rather convenient by just being up the road in Manchester. Unfortunately we rather missed out on the evening entertainment due to the proximity, but we did get a chance to meet up with friends...
