The theme of this year's Minehead Christmas Tree Festival was 'Time for a Story'.
On 17 September, our group's chair, Alison Dietz, attended the Refugees Welcome March in London.
We enjoyed a very relaxed afternoon with delicious cakes in Karen and Graham Mills' beautiful garden in Porlock.
At our May meeting we were very pleased to welcome Lisa Incledon who travelled down from London to speak to us about Amnesty's Children's Human Rights Network.
We held another successful letter writing afternoon on 26 May at the Reading Room in Minehead. We covered all the cases in the latest Real Lives Supplement, with many going to Iran.
Three members of the Minehead Group attended this year's AIUK AGM and Annual Conference at the beginning of April.
This year we held our action stall for International Women's Day actually on the day itself, 8 March. Although a weekday, we were pleased with the response.
Our annual quiz night on 4 March at the Minehead Social Club was a great success and very much enjoyed by all.
During the three-day Christmas Tree Festival in Minehead, our tree was seen by hundreds of visitors including many local school children.
The 2015 Write for Rights Campaign went well here in West Somerset.
