What we work on

We have an active core group, a large mailing list and good following on our social media.

We have an annual campaign focus which we promote at local events and work with our MPs - for 2026, we will be working on rights for refugees and asylum seekers.

As a group, we are part of the Anti-Death Penalty Project, the Queer Network and the Amnesty Feminists Network.

Our group’s Prisoners of Conscience are Dr Mohammed Al-Roken and Ahmed Mansour - both from the UAE.

We also keep up-to-date with events and issues in South Asia, South East Asia and Cuba.

Patrick Corrigan calls for "solidarity with the Muslim community, with the refugee community and with every community" at the anti-racism rally in Belfast
