In the summer of 2012, the Minehead AI Group worked with local members of Save the Children to organise a children's art competition. The theme was Children's Human Rights

and weekly art sessions were organised at the Minehead Eye, a wonderful new facility for young people. The children produced a large variety of colourful posters, each linked to a theme from the UN Charter on the Rights of the Child. At the end of August the posters were displayed in the cafe at the Eye and prizes were awarded for the most imaginative and eye-catching ones.
