Write for Rights 2017: Writing for freedom

It only takes a few minutes to write a letter or card. But for a peaceful protester arrested and tortured, an activist fighting against forced evictions, or refugees left in limbo rather than offered a place of safety, it can provide the strength to carry on. A message of solidarity tells people that, however difficult the circumstances, they’re not alone.
