On Sunday 7th December the Newcastle Group held a joint event with Wearside Amnesty International Group at Sunderland Minster promoting Write For Rights as part of International Human Rights Day.

The meeting concentrated on Amnesty's Write for Rights Event.

The group's annual Aisha Duhulow Memorial Day on Saturday 25th October was focussed on Colombia - with special reference to The Peace Community of San Jose de Apartado.

The Newcastle Amnesty Group's November meeting was held at 7pm in the Amnesty Bookshop on Westgate Road.

The group's October meeting was held at 7pm in the Amnesty Bookshop on Westgate Road on Tuesday October 21st.

The Newcastle group's September meeting was held on Tuesday Septemeber 16th at 7pm Amnesty Bookshop Westgate Road. Letters were written regarding Human Rights issues in South America

The Newcastle group's August meeting was held on Tuesday August 19th at 7pm Amnesty Bookshop Westgate Road.

Our last meeting was held on Tuesday June 17th at 7pm at the Amnesty Bookshop on Westgate Road Issues discussed included Gaza, Colombia and the Brick Kiln Schools in Pakistan

June Monthly group meeting was held in the Amnesty Bookshop Westgate Road on Tuesday 17th June at 7pm. Campaigns discussed included Chad, Brazil and Mexico

May Monthly group meeting was held in the Amnesty Bookshop Westgate Road on Tuesday 20th May at 7pm.
