COLOMBIA DAY
The group's annual Aisha Duhulow Memorial Day on Saturday 25th October was focussed on Colombia - with special reference to The Peace Community of San Jose de Apartado.
It was held in the Brunswick Hall in Newcastle from 10am to 4pm on Saturday October 25th
As well as Amnesty there were presentations from Peace Brigades International, Colombian Caravana, Justice for Colombia and Unison; along with theatre from Ice and Fire and Colombian Food from La Tiendita cafe.

Almost 100 people took part for some or all of the day and a number of actions were taken including a petition of support for the Peace Community
