IRAQ REFUGEE CRISIS - a diary from Damascus.

Thanksfor reading my posts from Damascus. Photographer Angie Catlin and I are currently in the process of producing an exhibition on Iraqi refugees to be held in Glasgow in June as part of Refugee Week. We've interviewedaround 30 refugees from both Glasgow and Damascus and hope to highlight whatwe believe to bean escalating crisis one that has been largely ignored by the UK mediaover the past five years.

Our project is inconjunction with the Scottish Refugee Council and we hope to have several articles on the Iraqi refugeesituation published aheadof the exhibition.

I'll post more details in due course and during Refugee Week I'll publish more refugee stories and some of Angie's startling images. Thanks.
