Our August newsletter includes reports and pictures from our Refugee Week bring & share supper and also from our stall at the Roadwater Village Fete. Both were enjoyable occasions and helpful in continuing to keep the profile of Amnesty alive in the West Somerset area. Also included are reports of the 2025 AIUK conference and AGM and of a webinar entitled 'Prosecuting the Powerful'. The campaign reports include updates on the situation of women in Afghanistan and on the BK16 in India who still haven't gone on trial despite the first arrests having taken place over seven years ago.
