Sponsored Walk 15th Sept 2019- click here

Walk for Rights: raise funds for local and national work to promote human rights.

On Sunday 15th September, Exeter Amnesty Group are organising a Walk for Rights. You are welcome to join in all or part of the walk, to sponsor someone who is walking or to donate towards our fund-raising goal of £500.

This will be a sponsored walk to raise money for local and national Amnesty work promoting human rights at home and abroad.

Start: The 6-mile walk will start just north of Budleigh Salterton at the junction of the B3178/Granary Lane and South Farm Road (there is free on-road parking, or you can park in Lime Kiln carpark and walk up the river and meet us at White Bridge).

Time: We will start walking at 11 and aim to be back at the start by 2.

Route: We will walk out to Otter Head, north up the coast path towards Ladrum Bay, inland to Otterton and back to the start along the River Otter.

We will stop for a lunch/snack break about 12 overlooking the sea above Ladrum Bay, but anyone who wants to break their walk for lunch at Otterton Mill or the nearby pub (or anywhere else) is more than welcome to do that, then make their own way back.

Email exeteramnestygroup@hotmail.co.uk for more information or to tell us you are walking. We will be at the start from 10.45 with Amnesty banners.
