May 2021 newsletter now available

May 2021 marks the 60th anniversary of the founding of Amnesty International. 

To commemorate this, we’ve created a short history of this Group and some photos to remember some of the many events and actions that we've undertaken, to accompany this Newsletter.  I hope it brings back some good memories for you, and inspires us for the coming years!

We hope that the planned lifting of restrictions proposed for June 2021 will enable us to arrange some in-person events: we'll let you know!

Actions in the Newsletter include an urgent action for Algerian journalist Raban Kareche and - if you are a person of a faith or belief group - a Faiths and Beliefs Open Letter.
