Another successful Amnesty Quiz

Our annual quiz took place on 22 February at the Minehead & District Social Club. As usual, it was superbly organised by the Humber family, with interesting questions delivered with clarity and just the right speed, a rapid no-nonsense marking of the answers, and great prizes for the winners. There was a lovely warm atmosphere and people said how much they'd enjoyed the evening. Takings for Amnesty totalled £361, which included £248 on the door (and some donations) and £113 on the raffle. Our thanks go to Jean, Matt and Ellen, and the two children, for running a great quiz. Thanks also go to all those who donated raffle prizes, including Alcombe Seafare and The Regal Theatre.
