Enjoyable AmnesTea

We held an enjoyable AmnesTea at St. Peter’s Eaton Square on Sunday, June 16th. The church has a Family Service at 9.45 and a Sung Eucharist at 11.15. Amnesty members were there from early on putting out a wonderful array of cakes and biscuits which different people had made, providing literature and letters to sign, and blowing up balloons. The balloons were chased around the churchyard as the wind played havoc with them!  All the cakes were sold and, thanks to generous donations, we raised the remarkable sum of £224. Moreover the work of Amnesty International is more widely known. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success.
