Sutton Amnesty Letter-Writing Stall at local Liberal Democrats Conference - 3 September 2022

The Sutton Amnesty International group ran yet another successful letter-writing stall, this time at the local Liberal Democrats conference in Carshalton Beeches. Delegates were very supportive, listened to testimonials on behalf of prisoners of conscience, and watched a short video on Sutton Amnesty and how the organisation works. They also wrote letters on the cases of Dr Mohammed Al-Roken (UAE), Alexei Navalny (Russia), Sophia Huang Xueqin and Wang Jianbing (China), and the young Palestinian journalist Janna Jihad.
