Thank you - we have an Arms Trade Treaty!

Twenty years, millions of actions taken by you, thousands of hours spent lobbying governments, hundreds of MPs across the UK holding the government to account, six years of UN deliberations and it has all paid off. Yesterday, together, we achieved a great milestone for human rights. 154 governments voted to put lives and human rights above profits and for the first time place effective international controls on the billion dollar arms trade by adopting the Arms Trade Treaty.
