Stratford MP Nadhim Zahawi signs up for Write for Rights

Stratford-on-Avon's MP, Nadhim Zahawi showed his support for Amnesty International's Write for Rights this week by signing a card in support of  Eskinder Nega, who is serving an 18 year prison sentence in Ethiopia for ‘incitement to commit terrorist acts’ and ‘treason’ - but he is neither a terrorist nor a traitor. He’s a firm believer in free speech. Eskinder is one of the individuals we will be supporting at our Write for Rights stall on the Cornmarket (opposite the Town Hall) between 9.30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. on Saturday December 7th. Come along and show your support too by signing a card!
