Monthly meeting for June - and a little excursion!
Our monthly meeting for June will be this coming Thursday the 14th, in Cheadle Hulme.
Although we'll be starting at about 8:00pm as usual, and in the usual place, we have a bit of a trip out prior to the meeting. Amnesty has asked local groups to get a photo of themselves at a local landmark as part of the campaign for the forthcoming Refugee Week, and we'll be gathering at Bramhall Hall for that very purpose. Group members who can make it, please meet in the courtyard entrance to the house at 7.30pm.
Then we shall nip back to Cheadle Hulme for the monthly meeting! We're also pleased to have Julie Bullough, the NW Regional Representative, joining us, and we're looking forward to meeting her.
Our meetings take place on the second Thursday of every month (except August). For full details on the location, including directions and a map, please go to this page.
We get together at 7:45pm for an 8:00pm start. For those who haven't been before, we can assure you that new members are always welcome. Please come along if you're interested in meeting us and helping us in our work to support human rights around the world.
