Sheffield AI Group Meeting October '12

A great meet for our local group last night..

With creativity, letter-writing & enthusiasm in abundance for our various actions.

You may remember our last meeting was centred around the concept and techniques of letter writing with AI trainer Barbara Lodge, and we put theory to practice last night in writing letters for various cases such as requests for action on disappearances in Syria and to halt executions in the USA.

We also got a little more 'hands-on' in sending a message of solidarity to women's organisations in Columbia, who are fighting back in a bid to end sexual violence against women caught up in the armed conflict between their government and guerrilla groups..



You will see that we have collectively raised our hands in solidarity to state "No al abuso sexual".
