Here's a snippet and a sing-song from one of our members & fundraisers, Daniel...

London Triathlon for Amnesty!



Inspired by the Olympic heroics of Yorkshire's Brownlee brothers & sucked in by a last-minute Amnesty advert for entries into the London Triathlon, I was shortly in dialogue with a rep from their fundraising team and had signed by body away to 6 weeks of pain.



I signed up for the Triathlon, taking place on September 22nd, with just six weeks to fit in my training and to meet the fundraising target of £400 (which I shall split 30/70 between the Sheffield Group and Amnesty International itself respectively).



So I'm currently training my Welsh socks off with swimming pool visits, frantic cycling around the peak district, and running laps of Norfolk Park in preperation for the big day. Not to mention baking for some fundraising cake sales at my workplace(s)!"
