RHK Amnesty's October Meeting
Our next meeting will be on Thursday 10th October. As usual we will meet from 8pm - 9.30pm at the Twickenham Club, 7, Church Street, Twickenham, TW1 3NJ.
Since Alaa Abd el-Fattah was not released from his 5 year prison sentence on 29 September, despite having served 5 years imprisonment, we should focus on his case.
Alaa's mother went on hunger strike on 30 September in protest at his continued imprisonment and his two sisters are to meet with Foreign Secretary David Lammy on Wednesday 2 October.
At the meeting we will present a summary of the story so far and plan group action, following the latest news and guidance.

At this meeting we'll also finalise plans for our fundraising candle-making workshop in November, when we'll be selling Amnesty Christmas cards. Details to follow nearer the time.
