School talks

Would you like a school talk from The Reading Amnesty group?

Human rights education is vital in today’s world and is included in many schools’ curriculums. For example, in primary schools, children learn about British Values and SMSC (spiritual, moral, social and cultural) development. In secondary schools, GCSE RE looks at human rights in detail.

Human rights education empowers people to develop the skills and attitudes to promote equality, dignity and respect in their own communities, societies and worldwide.

Contact us if you would be interested in having a school speaker - we can tailor talks to your needs.
