Book Sale

At the start of December we held a Book Sale in Ebrington Street, Plymouth at The Bread and Roses.We had a great reponse with visitors buying books & CDs; we also chatted about the work of Amnesty

Although we know that the work of Amnesty is not orientated religously, the vicar at Yealmpton has agreed to let us display publicity material in his church.

January Meeting - all welcome!

Our first meeting of the New Year takes place tonight at the Quaker Meeting House on Mutley Plain, Plymouth at 7.00 pm.

Write for Rights

Our December meeting was an amazing success. We wrote a considerable number of messages of support to prisoners of conscience across the world on seasonal cards, many of which were home made.

Quiz Night Results

Back in October we held a very successful Quiz Night in St Bartholomew's Church in Yealmpton. Amnesty members generously provided some amazing food for one and all.

Street Collections

Our Plymouth Street Collection on August 31st raised £74.87. Our next one is in Tavistock on Saturday 28th September, meeting at 10.00 by the Bedford Square statue.
