Celebrating achievements

The highlight of Friday's AGM was a presentation (attached) that celebrated the group's recent achievements.

Amnesty's 50th Birthday was in 2011, and we definitely took the opportunity to observe this special year.

More than 500 letters and messages of hope were sent around the world. We had a sell-out gig at the Acorn Theatre and have held monthly letter writing events. Most importantly, Myo Min Zaw, a Burmese Prisoner of conscience was released.
Keep up to date and take part in the coming years events by following the blog and finding us on Facebook.
