Human rights are under threat, in this country and round the world. People are unjustly imprisoned. People like Jose Ruben, an editor in Guatemala, Nimet Tanrikulu, a human rights activist in Turkey, and Gui Minhai, a bookseller in Hong Kong.

On 10 December 2025, the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Mayfair and Soho group will be remembering by name these three people, and 200 others for whom Amnesty has worked. The event will take place at 6.30 at St Anne's Church, 55 Dean Street, London WC1D 6AF
