Write for Rights

Each year as our festive season approaches, Amnesty International launches a campaigh to send letters and cards with messages of solidarity to prisoners and letters of appeal to governments holding particular prisoners of conscience. last year the campaigh resulted in the release of two prisoners.

This year our group has held events at the United Reformed Church in St Annes and at St Alban's Church in St Annes  There are three more events scheduled, one at the Central Methodist Church in Blackpool on 13 December (10.30-1), one at Our Lady's Church in St Annes after the Sunday services on 7 December and a further one in Cleveleys.
