Fylde Coast Amnesty Open Meeting

‘Stopping Indefinite Detention in the UK’

                             Fylde Coast Amnesty International

will be hosting an open meeting at 7.30 pm on Thursday 28 September at the World Healing Centre, 476 Lytham Rd, Blackpool, FY4 1JF

The speaker will be Trevor Trueman from Amnesty International who is part of the Asylum Justice Project.

The Asylum Justice Project is running an ongoing campaign during 2017 to end the indefinite detention of asylum seekers in the UK. This unjust practice is not only hugely degrading and damaging for thousands of innocent people seeking asylum every year but it is also at odds with every other country in the European Union, all of which set a limit on how long asylum seekers can be detained.

This is an open meeting all members of the public will be made very welcome.
