Sponsored walk to Stop Torture

On Sunday, 27^th September six members took part in a 10.5 mile sponsored walk from Exeter Quay to The Turf Inn and back. The weather was glorious and it was a fantastic opportunity to meet and talk with members of the group, enjoy Exeter's beautiful canalside walks, and to raise funds too. Over £100 was raised, some of which will be sent to Amnesty International UK for use in their Stop Torture campaign and some will be used to fund group activities over the coming year.
