Exeter Local Group Winter Fair - 29 November

On Saturday 29th November, the Exeter Local Group of Amnesty International will be holding their annual Winter Fair, at St Stephen's Church in the centre of Exeter.

From 10 until 12.30, we'll be selling mouth-watering cakes, some great gift ideas including books and providing teas and coffees.

We'll also be hosting a Write for Rights table, to allow citizens of Exeter write cards to show solidarity with prisoners of conscience or human rights defenders who are being harassed by the local authorities. There will also be letters to sign, demanding that the authorities release or protect the individuals at risk.

So while you're out on the High Street, frantically Christmas shopping, take a break with a coffee and mince pie in a city centre oasis, and sign an additional seasonal card which will be gratefully received.
