Can you donate £10 to help us continue our human rights work?

As a friend of the Exeter Group of Amnesty International you will be aware of the plight of prisoners around the world who are unjustly held or badly treated, and individuals and groups who have their human rights infringed in all manner of ways that scarcely seem possible.

In order for us to continue to campaign, raise awareness and fund-raise for these issues in the Exeter area we rely on the support of our members and friends. We are asking for an annual donation for 2018 of £10 (£15 for couples/families). Last year we used this money to campaign at Exeter and Exmouth Pride, Respect and The Green Fair, involving attendees in a variety of actions and letter writing. We held three very productive letter-writing coffee mornings as well as a very successful photographic exhibition at Exeter Phoenix. We also used funds for posting appeal letters (nearly £200!), venue expenses and sending members to regional and national conferences.
