Saturday 29th March - Vigil

From 2:00pm-4:00pm we will be holding a vigil for Dhondup Wangchen at the Chinese Embassy. Dhondup Wangchen is the Prisoner of Conscience Ealing Amnesty International Group is currently campaigning for. He is a Tibetan film-maker imprisoned for "inciting separatism". He was detained in March 2008 for his involvement in making a documentary film about Tibetan attitudes towards the Beijing Olympics and the Dalai Lama.

Thursday 3rd April - Quiz

The Drayton Court Hotel is kindly hosting our annual Pub Quiz on 3rdApril. There is a maximum of 6 per team and Quiz starts at 8.30pm. We urge you to arrive before 8:30pm so we can organise teams. Come along and test your general knowledge… and raise some funds for the group at the same time!

Saturday 12th April – Ealing Amnesty monthly meeting (all welcome)

Our monthly meeting is held in the Library of the Questors theatre in Ealing. We dedicate time each month to letter writing and planning campaigns. Our next meeting is 2.30pm-4.30pm on Saturday 12th April – do come along.

Friday 25th April - Theatre

Grab a bargain! The Questors Theatre in Ealing is showing The Rise and Fall of Little Voice in April. For the performance on Friday 25th April you can get your ticket for the reduced rate of £12 from the Ealing Amnesty International Group (they are £15 at the box office!).
