Carolling in Croydon: An end to a busy year!

Happy New Year everyone! Here at Croydon Amnesty, we had a very busy 2019 and are ready for what we hope will be another great year of activism!

In our usual festive style, we took to East Croydon Station for our annual carol singing fundraiser in December. It was a productive evening and followed by our Christmas meal, it was a great way to finish the year! We battled the station loudspeaker and footballer chants with style! This was of course also in addition to our Write for Rights stall at the library a few days before, which was also a success.

We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped out at both events. We raised a fantastic £195.26 thanks to the carol singing and have 62 greetings cards to send all over the world containing messages of hope on 12 different cases for Write for Right as well as 32 petition cards

Thank you everyone and see you over the year for more human rights activism!
