Writing letters to make a difference

A change to our programme means that we shall be dedicating this week's meeting, on Thursday 11th April, to writing cards to prisoners of conscience and their families and letters to the authorities responsible for their incarceration, demanding their release and in the meantime at least an improvement in their conditions.

We had planned to do this in our May meeting but we are pleased to have been able to reschedule a face to face meeting with Nabila Hanson, AIUK's country co-ordinator for China and Taiwan, which will now take place in our Town Hall at 7:30pm on Thursday 9th May.  We hope that Paul Wong will be able to join us on-line to update us on the situation in Hong Kong.  Do join us for what is going to be a highly informative session.
