Justice for Ferhat Gerçek

We continue to send letters to the Turkish authorities in particular the Minister for Jusice and the Minister of Interior Affairs as well as the Turkisk Ambassador but we have received no replies so far. We will continue to urge the authorities to bring those reponsible for shooting Ferhat to justice and that his trial should be conducted in a fair and efficient manner. We have reminded the Turkish authorities of their obligations under the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.
