Next Meeting Monday 19 June

The next monthly Group meeting, to which all are welcome, is Monday 19 June at 8.00pm at the Friends Meeting House, North Bar, Banbury OX16 0AH.

We will be addressing actions in the monthly pack from Amnesty HQ as well as reviewing progress with the local schools groups, with our two adopted individual cases (Hakan Yaman in Turkey and Sirikan Charoensiri in Thailand), and our plans for the remainder of the year.

The Conservative Government had already announced that its plans to scrap the Human Rights Act would be put on hold until the Brexit outcome was clear. The election result may see this proposal kicked further into the long grass.

We hope to see many of you next Monday, 19th. New faces are always welcome.
