Next Meeting Monday 15 May

All are welcome to our next Group meeting, this coming Monday, 15 May at 7.30pm, at the Friends' Meeting House, Horse Fair, Banbury OX16 0AH (next to Church House Restaurant). Meetings are friendly and informal; no prior knowledge or experience is needed!

With the Amnesty UK AGM taking place 24 June in London we'll be reviewing and discussing the various AGM resolutions, including those from local groups like ours, and deciding how to cast our Group's votes. The resolutions are in the document attached in case you have a chance to review them ahead of our meeting.

We'll also discuss the joint work we've been doing with Chipping Norton Amnesty Group to campaign against the Government's Illegal Migration Bill (which has included a letter to the Banbury Guardian and a contribution to Any Answers on Radio 4), and discuss how best to use the upcoming meeting we have with our MP Victoria Prentis now confirmed for 23 June.
