Next Group meeting Monday 21 November

Our next meeting is on Mon 21 November at 8pm at the Friends' Meeting House, Horse Fair, Banbury OX16 0AH. All are very welcome.

The meeting will include responding to the monthly action requests from Amnesty HQ, reviewing progress in establishing Amnesty Groups in the five local schools Chrissie and others are working with, and planning our forward activity.

Write for Rights campaign

We will be holding a drop-in greetings card signing event in Banbury on Sat 10 December 12 - 2pm  (Human Rights  Day) at St Mary's Church in Banbury.  Many thanks to John Smith for securing the venue. We'll agree arrangements at the 21 Nov meeting.

Fund-raising workshop

This participatory workshop will take place  in our regular December meeting slot at the Friends' Meeting House at 7.30pm (note earlier time) on Mon 19 December.  We're very grateful that Robert Richwood - an Amnesty trainer - will be facilitating. This should help us establish our forward fund-raising plans.

We hope to see you at our next meeting on 21 Nov. There is absolutely no problem in coming along even if you have not been able to make any recent meetings - we'll be delighted to see you, and you are free to participate in whatever way you feel able.
