NEXT BANBURY AREA GROUP MEETING: MONDAY 20 FEBRUARY,  8.00PM

Our next meeting will be a regular business monthly business meeting, to which all are warmly welcomed, on Monday 20 February at 8.00pm at the Friends' Meeting House, Horse Fair, Banbury OX16 0AH. Will will have a full agenda, including deciding on our forward fund-raising plans, following our workshop in December; dealing with the monthly requests for action from Amnesty HQ; and reviewing the progress of the local school groups we are working with.

Talk on Turkey

We are aiming to rearrange the talk on Turkey by Mark Jones, leading human rights lawyer and specialist on Turkey, for a date after Easter. This is especially relevant to our group on account of our adopted case of Hakan Yaman in Istanbul.
