Opened in May 2012, our York book shop is the youngest in our chain. Based within the city walls, it is a stones throw from York Minister.

Monday-Saturday: 10.00am-5.00pm
Sunday: 11.30am-4.30pm

Get involved

Volunteer Our shops are run mainly by volunteers so we’re always looking for more! If you’re interested in helping out and can spare four hours a week, please pop in for a chat and an application form. You can also download the role outline and application form below.  

Donate Got records you haven’t listened to for years? Or books you’re no longer reading? Don't put them in the attic, bring them down to the shop and donate to support human rights. We also accept CDs and DVDs.
