Elections for the 2018 – 2021 Board

The Amnesty International United Kingdom Board has 12 elected ordinary members who each serve voluntarily for three consecutive years and are then eligible for re-election for another three years. The Board oversees the running of Amnesty International UK, including finances, human resources, campaigning work, and ensuring that we meet out international obligations.

An election will be held for four places on the Board of Amnesty International United Kingdom Section for 2018. To fill gaps in 2018 we particularly need Board members with specific experience in at least one or more of the following:

  • Human resources leadership and management
  • Governance and executive recruitment and development
  • Organisational management
  • Impact monitoring, evaluation and learning

If you would like to discuss standing for the Board, the Nominations Sub-Committee will be happy to talk to you – get in touch by email on nomcom@amnesty.org.uk to arrange an informal telephone discussion.

Amnesty International United Kingdom highly supports diversity and inclusion and welcomes candidates from under-represented groups.
