1989 Participant's Profile: Yuan Li (袁 力)
Yuan Li (袁 力), engineer in the Electrical Machinery Department of the Beijing Machinery Industry Research Institute. Around 11:00 p.m. on June 3, 1989, Yuan was shot dead at Muxudi, soon after he had left home. He died at 27. Initially designated Unidentified Body No.2 in the Naval General Hospital, he was eventually identified by his family and cremated on June 24 and thereafter buried in the Wanan Public Cemetery.
