Michael Palin goes to...

Michael Palin is known for his television films of travels to the Sahara, the Himalayas, or around the planet.  His latest travels are much nearer home.  He has been visiting the refugees who live in the council estates of larger cities in the UK.  He became involved in the Simple Acts promoted by Refugee Week and became friends with a Somali man who was not permitted to do paid work and was instead volunteering for a refugee centre in Bristol.

One of the 20 suggested Simple Acts is to share a song and another is to watch a film about refugees.
