Our Campaigns
Current priority Campaigns
Refugees, Migrants and asylum
Migrants, refugees and asylum seekers are often used as scapegoats by politicians and the media for a whole range of problems. We want to dispel these exploitative myths and create a fair and affective system.
Autumn 2016 will see the launch of our two-year global campaign on refugees ‘I WELCOME’. A campaign that will be grass roots focused, and shaped by activists from across the world. Activists will be getting more information on the campaign throughout the year.

Human Rights Act
The Human Rights Act is a powerful tool. It brings home fundamental, universal rights we all have as human beings, and allows us to the challenge authorities if they violate them.
There will be lots of ways you can help make sure we retain the Human Rights Act; from lobbying your MP to running petition signings. The campaign will continue throughout the year, and we will be updating groups on key moments and actions.

Action for individuals
At the heart of Amnesty has always been its work on campaigning for individuals whose human rights are at risk. We defend people who have been or are at risk of being denied their human rights and stand beside those who defend rights.
Our annual Write for Rights campaign is a great opportunity to take action on behalf of individuals. And you can order materials to help in your campaigning. Find out more about our campaigning on individuals at risk.
