Meeting May 22

 Discussions were held on the death-penalty and the sales of arms to middle eastern countries. 

Letters were sent  urging the  Zimbabwe authorities to release prisoner of conscience Itai Dzamara and  to The Libyan authorities  on behalf of Dr Salem Beitelmal.

 Several online actions were completed by the group  for various people suffering in UAE and Somalia for example. 

  Details of the street collection in West Kirby was planned for 24th of June.  It will be from 10 AM till 1 PM.   We will be collecting around the town if anyone would like to contribute you will find us, amongst other places, outside Morrison's.  Posters for refugee week will be displayed. 

 The groups next meetings are June 26th and July 31st at 8pm in  Friends meeting house, North Drive, Heswall, CH60 0BD.
