Meetings and Events 2018/2019

We meet regularly once a months every third Tuesday of every month at 7 pm in St Peter's Church, 119 Eaton Square, SW1W 9AL.  Apart from our regular monthly group meetings, we organise fundraising events such as sponsored walks, carol singing, etc. We also invite speakers from AIUK offices or external speakers to train our members on campaigning skills or to speak about specific topics.

  • 18 September 2018: Monthly Meeting
  • 29 September 2018 (Saturday): Sponsored Walk "More in Common" 
  • 16 October 2018: Monthly Meeting with Graham Minter, AI UK, South America coordinator (except Brazil and Colombia) as guest speaker about Venezuela
  • 29 October 2018 (Monday): Film “Syria’s Disappeared” and discussion (POSTPONED)
  • 20 November 2018: Monthly Meeting with David Palmer, AI UK, Brazil coordinator about Brazil
  • 11 December 2018 (Tuesday): Carol Singing at Pimlico Tube Station, 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
  • 18 December 2018: Monthly Meeting. We will join the Amnesty Write 4 Rights campaign and write letters to prisoners of conscience all over the world. Please come and join us.
  • 15 January 2019: Annual General Meeting (different venue, please get in contact for more information)
  • 19 February 2019: Monthly Meeting (different venue, please get in contact for more information) with Oscar Jenz, AI UK, UAE country coordinator and Joe Odell, ICFUAE about UAE
  • 4 March 2019, 7.pm: "Words for the Silenced" - a human rights poetry event (joint event with Exiled Writers Ink), Poetry Cafe, London
