Send a Message of Hope at our Write for Rights Events

Amnesty International works hard to protect men, women and young people who are at risk of human rights abuses. Each year during November to January we invite friends and supporters to sign cards with messages of hope and solidarity that we send to individuals at risk. We have two events planned this year where you can come along and find out more about the people we are supporting this year and sign a card.  All welcome.

On Saturday 30 November we have a stall in the Culcheth Methodist church hall as part of the Culcheth Christmas Market (10am - 4pm). Please come and find us and sign one of our cards which will be posted to individuals following the event.  There is also lots of great stalls and food at the Market.

On Tuesday 10 December we are holding a coffee morning (9.30 - 12 noon) at the Warrington Friends Meeting House, 1b Academy Place, Warrington WA1 2NR.  This is a free event with coffee, tea and homemade cakes and biscuits.  There will be lots of information on the cases we are supporting this year and cards to sign.
