Demonstrating Support for the Palestinian People

At the Golden Gates joining an action to support the Palestinian people

On Wednesday 2 July a group met together outside Warrington Town Hall gates to show support for the Palestinian people. It was supported by members of local churches, Warrington Amnesty and concerned individuals.

Many in the group write or email regularly to the Prime Minister, the foreign secretary and their MP. Other actions include peaceful marches and vigils.

Wearing something red was to signify that a red line has been crossed in the war in Gaza. Thousands of people wearing red  surrounded the House of Commons the day before with one very clear message - stop arming Israel.
