Vigil for Giulio Regeni on 25 January at 6pm at Great St Mary's Church

It is now nearly four years since Cambridge PhD student Giulio Regeni doing research in Egypt disappeared in Cairo in January 2016. His body was found, very badly tortured, nine days later. The Egyptian government has never explained what happened. Many others are being disappeared and tortured in Egypt today. We shall be calling for the end to these practices and for TRUTH FOR GIULIO.

Here in Cambridge, Giulio's friends and colleagues will be joining Amnesty and Human Rights activists at this vigil on Saturday 25 January at 6pm outside Great St Mary's Church, Kings Parade Cambridge to remember Giulio and all the other people suffering in Egypt for their views.

We hope you will be able to join us then.
