January 2013 Group AGM

A small but dedicated group braved the cold for our AGM this month. We began looking ahead to some of the meetings, events, actions and campaigns that we are planning for the coming year, including:

• February meeting: Guest speaker - Trevor Trueman from Malvern Hills Amnesty will be talking about human rights abuses in Ethiopia and the plight of refugees.
• Exhibition and workshop on Forced Evictions
• Fundraising and awareness-raising events, including building on the success of last year's picnic!
• Continued campaigning for prisoners of conscience in Burma

We always welcome newcomers to our group, so if you would like to get involved, do come along!
