
Next Sutton Amnesty meeting, 12 May 2025, 19.30 pm

We will be holding a group meeting in-person and online on Monday 12th May 19:30-21:30, which everyone is welcome to attend.
Joining us will be guest speakers Janet Phillips and Ian Myson, who will talk on the Amnesty activist-led UN Network campaigning to campaigning to stop the use of UN Secutiry Council veto to obstruct resolutions aimed at preventing mass atrocities.
Following this, updates will be given on the case of Chow Hang-Tung, an unjustly imprisoned human-rights lawyer in Hong Kong, whose release we are campaigning for.
Finally, we will discuss plans for our 50th anniversary event, which will be held on Sutton High Street on 14th June 2025.
