Our next meeting will take place on Monday 7 November 2022 at 8.00 pm via Zoom (virtual meeting). Please email our Group Secretary if you wish to join the meeting.

Our speaker will be Mark Farmaner, Director of Burma Campaign UK, the largest campaigning group for Burma in Europe. BCUK has been successful in persuading the United Nations Security Council to place Burma on its permanent agenda, encouraged the EU to increase targeted sanctions and many companies to cease working with the military dictatorship. Mark will tell us about the recent history of Myanmar and the work of BCUK.

There will be updates on our group campaigns and we will speak about new urgent actions.
